Rathi Associates was established in 1976 and started as a one-man show with a single table under a staircase by Late Ar. B.H.Rathi along with the support of his wife Nisha Rathi. Today, Rathi Associates is considered as one of the prestigious Architecture and Interior Design firms in India, and boasts of having a solid team of Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and Project managers who are our biggest asset. Ar. Rathi conceptualized the idea Of building a firm, par excellence, not only in the design field but also in promoting meaningful relationships with its community and clients. Late Ar. B. H. Rathi's was a life dedicated to design, originality, and commitment. He was incredibly passionate about design as a subject and was considered a stalwart in the field of design and Architecture. In the late 80s and 90's when the multinationals entered India - he played a pivotal role in defining and bringing in many corporate interior trends and standards. Being a veteran in the design field, he was a frequent speaker at industry seminars and has served as a visiting faculty at various Architecture colleges. Architect Rathi's achievements and contributions to the design community have been recognized in India as well as abroad. He was the recipient Of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Institute of Interior Designers and was honored in Houston (USA) for excellence in Architectural Design.
