Sattva Anugraha

Sattva Anugraha, located on Magadi Road, Bengaluru, is a residential development shaped by the site's defining characteristic—a 13-metre level difference. Rather than treating the terrain as a constraint, the design embraces it as an opportunity to create a distinctive spatial experience. The natural contours informed the planning strategy, enabling efficient basement ventilation, optimized circulation, and a seamless integration of built form with the landscape. The project introduces stepped common spaces that respond to the site's topography, establishing a layered sequence of movement and interaction. These terraced spaces enhance natural light, improve cross ventilation, and create a calm, human-centric environment while strengthening the visual and physical connection between architecture and landscape. Executed in two phases, the project demanded continuous design coordination, technical integration, and close site engagement. Despite the challenges posed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the design intent was consistently upheld through proactive collaboration and meticulous execution, resulting in a development that is both contextually responsive and functionally refined.
